Shari's friend with the missing van?

Shari, I remember a post form way back b4 I was an "important contributor" on here about your friends missing van. I think you started out by telling us to be on the lookout for a missing girl in a van. So did your friend get his van back? What do you know about the girl?

REMEMBER:

There has been no electricity or internet in BA for the last few days.
What Shari has posted was probably banda ancha off her cell phone...slow, painful and expensive.

I think the power problems must be VERY localized as several friends in Bahia Asuncion, in town and out near the point, have electricity, phone service and internet. They have continued to be online.

agree with Diana. Posted on the IVO thread by zforbes on 8/26

We have power; we have internet; damage is minimal compared to other storms I've weathered here.

There is Internet and power in BA. My sister and mom have posted plenty of pics for those away from the action. It was reassuring knowing that someone was keeping us in the loop in real time.

Yes, I read what they posted on your mom's facebook and knowing she had a bit of some problems, it was really nice they took the time to check out the homes of others and post pictures of what was happening in the town in real time.

I know when we owned our place, we so appreciated the pictures and words our caretakers always sent us. They also put up the wood for us when we requested and all the while they had many water issues of their own.

The girl returned to her family, and the story was that the van was stolen from them - never to be seen again. There - to my knowledge - has never been anything further on this.

Interestingly enough.... the other young lady that people thought might be (Natasha) the missing girl (but wasn't), was Zoe Noel Stewart (daughter of the owner of the Hotel California)... who was arrested for being in a stolen car (March, 2011), and then was connected with four murders in the Cabo & Todos Santos area (Migriño; August, 2011)...

Anyhow, for some reason I thought she was headed to prison for a while. Apparently not:

Maybe that is a fancy prison?

There has to be an interesting story hiding somewhere. I would like to think that she was innocent all along.
