Mini Road Report Asuncion-Vizcaino-Sta Rosalia

Detours on Tortugas Vizcaino road have ended. Three or four badly potholed sections still remain, but MOST of the road is now 40 - 60 mph, call it 90% pot hole free.

Major road construction leaving Vizcaino toward Sn Ignacio. 3km long detour. Dirt. Obviously a work by the municipio to improve pavement. Filling with four feet of earth, to be paved. Work ends within sight of the remote gasolinera, right at the sign announcing the beginning of the highway de SCT. Would advise much caution motorhomes and vehicles pulling trailers. If this section gets wet it may well become a quagmire.

Main street Sta Rosalia blocked off for some sort of repairs.

No other blockages or detours experienced.
