Costco Ensenada?
Will they be open on Monday 16th for the holiday?

Probably not. Most everything closes on Independence Day.
I just left there and didn't see any notices one way or the other.

Apropos to nothing, but the parent company of the Comercial Mexicano across the street from Costco is half owner of Costco de Mexico. We have found
that you can occasionally get better prices at CoMex than Costco.
We have often shopped both stores for comparison.

Not any more. Separated a while back. I have a link somewhere, but I'll have to find it later. Dinner bell's ringing.

Was there a change in the Mexican law? I thought there was a requirement for Mexican ownership at 50 or 51%?
If Costco Mexico established itself as a separate Mexican corporation, they would still not be the US Costco. I'm confused.

Money talks, Howard. Mexico changes their constitution as often as they change their skivvies.
What the man on the street, especially foreigners, think may be legal, has nothing to do with them.
