short wait for appointment

the goods news, is once you get your Sentri approval the appointment calendar is wide open. My sister who applied for a new car got her approval last month and just got around to scheduling her safety appointment and was able to get it for this Monday Our good friends just got their preliminary approval for Sentri and are scheduled for their interviews tomorrow. Both people scheduled in under a week.
They approval took some time!

I'll really make your day.

If you have SENTRI and you are only adding a car, you can do a walk in, no schedule necessary.

However, I would call the station you want to go to and make sure you can get in and someone will be there.

I am in Fenix and I spoke to them today, I just need to get my approval done

Cortez... that is great news, however the last time I was in the Otay Mesa Sentri office I was told definitively that they will not do "walk ins" in their office. You must make an appointment. Anyone thinking about going there should call them and confirm that is still the case. (619) 690-7600.

MMC
Are you saying that when your Sentri card came up for renewal you did not have to go in, just pay the fees? Is this common? We have always had to go in.
Curious as anyone else been so lucky!
I thought getting CA drivers license was nice but the Sentri is the jackpot

"Some" people I know have had no appointment renewals. I have no idea what the criteria is for a non-appointment renewal.

I would like to know too! I paid the 25.00 for the renewal fee about 45 days ago and have heard nothing since. Checking online, it still says pending. I have a few months to go before mine expires but really would like to know who gets the no appointment renewals??????????????????????:?:
