Yeah, but Bonnie and Clyde used a Ford for their getaways.

I was looking at it when it rolled over, but a big pan protects the bottom... American cars were made great, specially before the mid 70's!

Ken sounds just like my Dad Was. My Dad would take a Perfectly good vehicle and work on it until it wouldn't run at all.

I like both Dodge and Tacoma. Love my 96 Dodge 4x4 Cummings with Banks as a 6800 lb freeway presence and winter survivor, but like my Toyota Tacoma
4x4 for getting unstuck without a major production in soft sand.

PS Never really cared about cars, but loved the video..

The video was great until it got to the part of pulling a log, where they half-wrapped a chain around the 2" BALL of a regular drawbar behind the
F150.

I don't think so. There's no visible differential at the front axle. 2X2s are quite capable with those large diameter wheels. That sedan in the video
looks just like the 1920 Dodge sedan that my uncle drove well into the '40s. So far as I know it's still running. My cousin still has it and I know he
drove it in a parade a few years ago.

There have been winching incidents where the ball broke off and either the ball or strap attachment (shackle) launched back to the vehicle being
pulled.
