Baja Rally 2013
Anyone down south of the border following the progress of the Inaugural Baja Rally? I know it started from Santo Tomas. Son-in-law is riding #36 bike,
and I'm sitting here on the Snake River Plain trying to find information.

Many thanks for that lead, Ateo. I see our buddy, Quinn Cody, leads (about an hour ago) and son-in-law is "adrift" about 7 min in second. Cool.

P.S. It's the first time Andy's been on a racing bike for several years.

Why are we hearing about this after it began? Or was there another thread?

This is a Moto only Rally utilizing Dakar style orienteering, no GPS other than what they use to check the competitors route. Riders compete in
special stages and liaisons etc...invite only racing event.
Day 1 Official Results http://www.moto-tally.com/bajarally/results.aspx
Day 2 is already underway today...and finishes in San Quintin late this afternoon.
DREAM IT! PLAN IT! LIVE IT!

Pretty neat to see who was in First and Second on Day 1. Of course I have no
bias.
Hope Day 2 is even better.

Just received txt msg that Andy G was first across finish line. No other times yet.
Allen R
Uh oh. Hold on. Just got another txt. Andy's odometer broke; may be a penalty. We'll have to wait.
