Looks really good. Just hope they are able to make it, inasmuch as there is such stiff competition along the malecon.

The food looks great! What is the dish with some kind of white meat in oil?..lemon? And are those meat balls for a sandwich?

That is Scallop Carpaccio (scallop sashimi) in lemon, herbed extra virgin olive oil and drizzled with tequila.
Oh my...my favorite. I was hoping you would say that!

Sorry DK. But La Paz is not in the tropics. |
The Tropic of Cancer, which is the demarcation, is actually quite near Santiago.

Boy you two... I am sorry but I never said it was IN the tropics:
"Really like La Paz... must be the tropical feel... or the food!??"
We get a tropical feel here in San Diego sometimes... I guarantee you that La Paz feels tropical MORE days!!!

Will try it the next time in Lap. just wonder how much the draft is watered down at 15 pesos. Will still go down nice on a hot day with a spicy pizza.
The grass is always greener....
and so, there is always a better spot in Baja

Do you still own and operate The Shack in La Paz?
Your new restaurant is on our list for our next trip. Best of luck with it!!!

Don't get your panties in a bunch, DK. As the parser-in-chief of Nomad, you surely can handle a little ribbing. No?
Tony's looks great and we will make sure to check it out next month.

Have had some great meals at Jesse's, but I'll go out on a limb and say that Tony's precios are mucho baja. Forgive the Spanglish.
