The Gyspsy's are coming to town!!!

We will be departing our Saskatoon home at 6:00 am on Friday! Should be rolling into National City around 2:30 pm on Saturday!!! Hoping to be in Asuncion around 6:00 pm on Sunday!!!!

If you see a blue Ford truck, with Saskatchewan plates, pulling a huge trailer with a quad and a dirt bike on it, give us a wave hello! If you are in the Asuncion area, stop by and say hello!

I know this is way in advance, but I'm to excited to work today!

I will try to update this daily once we get on the road.

We might see you there! You will be ahead of us. We are leaving in a 1-1.5 weeks, just waiting for our first Granddaughter to be born any minute now, then we leave soon after that!

durrelllrobert we drive non stop so that is why we can do it the way we do, we each take turns driving, and wind up in national city, smelly, tired and cranky! We do get tho National City and spend the night, so we are nice and refreshed for our 5:00 am departure! This is the way we have always done it, it just works for us.

OK, your total driving time to National city is 31.5 hours and our cumulative driving time to Chula Vista is 32.5. My wife has a few extra potty stops.

When I was only 16 my grand mother was very sick in Minnesota and I drove my mother from San Diego to Pipestone, MN non-stop in just a little under 40 hours and that was way before there were any interstates or freeways.
