Matomi Wash Update

I heard Matomi Wash is open. A friend said he went thru in his jeep going west to east. The bad section is about 50-75 yards long in the narrows. Said it would be much harder to go east to west and would not recommend wide vehicles.

A lot of monsoons this year, might have put the sand back. ( Barry---was out in Borrego last weekend and they got walloped by the monsoons---the levee diverting floods out of Tubbs Canyon was breached---the water came down an arroyo about 100 yards from my shack---2 more feet higher and the shack would have been a boat. New blowout of alluvium out of a couple other canyons too...but the place is green!)
