Can you say "Madrugada"?

The dark of the morning (no translation to English), this morning the air was fillled with the noise of high-powered engines, the total time. The course is about a half mile from my house. I approved because of the money it brings to this area. At 8am many people were still lining the course. The racers kept outrunning the slight delay on my camera.

"I approved because of the money it brings to this area"

You know there have been some Baja races that they actually ran on the beach! Wouldn't it be funny if they ran some beach this time too? I guess the money it brings excuses violating federal law???

Hey Tucker, I am just teasing you... Thank you for posting the photos... I am sure it wasn't easy to sleep with all that noise!

Actually, one of my employees came up with a pretty good one quite unintentionally. I posted about it here a while back:

I simply approved of them keeping me awake

in their pursuit of financial gain. I'm not here to save the Mexicans from themselves.

David, the beach at Daytona was used as a race course for many years. It would be tough to tell the Mexicans they can't race on theirs.

Herb, it is my impression that madrugada includes all the time after midnight until daylight, or the "dark of the morning". I'm a long ways from being an expert.
