TO BAHAHAWOOD: re Da Buddha Speaks

I have to man-up to you and appologize for my quote about "if you meet someone claiming to be The Buddha, kill him". I have a dear friend who i would wish to be 1/10th of his sentience, he is a practicing Buddhist in all forms from ashrams to abstinence, and he told me (in quotes btw)"
Well, I wasn’t there, that I remember. There is that book, “If you meet the Buddha along the road, kill him,” but I am not aware of scriptures attributing the quote to the Buddha. I believe this quote has evolved as part of a modern day teaching within the popular culture. I think the idea is that in Buddhism, which is atheistic, “the Buddha” is within each of us. Buddha is our own, enlightened, primordial nature, which, through practice and compassion for others, we can purify and realize. If you recognize someone else as Buddha, you’ve missed the point—you’re on the wrong road."
As you said (PERIOD. PERIOD.) NO killing. That housefly could be your grandmother, and the kharma of smushing it will be upon you. I know that about the Buddhism faith, and agree to most of it (along with several others from Druidism to Darwin).
As we used to sing as kids (yes, i was one once) "Be kind to your web-footed friend, for that duck may be somebody's MOOOOTTHHERRRR..."

Please accept my most humble appology (humility is one of my most favored attributes J/K).

Keep on smilin, and happy trails.

In my Casa I have my own meditation retreat room . Wish there were more interested in San Ignacio, most activity is in the Loreto area . it's OK though as my mind is the only distraction . Mosquitoes have to die ! As far as them being an ancestor , even attachment to them must go.

We all want a peaceful world, filled with love and laughter, but we fill ourselves with anger and hate trying to fiqure out how to achive it.

Ah! Tighten your skin, grasshopper... let them glut and pop. They won't reproduce, and have to return to bloodsuck again, and again....
Or, let them fill and fly, and move on towards the ulitmate fulfilment, unless they take the wrong toin at Alba-quoikee. Nyuk. One thing i have noticed over many years and many friends embracing one particular walk, they lose thier sense of humor. It all becomes waaaay too serious, just like Siddhartha found, and damned near killed himself doing it. Final result, ENJOY. Even if it is squashing a 'skeeter, he had it coming. It isn't your time yet to achieve the TOTAL experience, and if you look at your palms, there are no nail-holes either (cross-referencing the 'Search for God-hood').
Can't wait to play with the whale sharks, and if i catch a fish, i'll eat it. Any more than one, i'll let 'em go. That's my contribution.

Happy trails,
bb
