Can't access the online fishing permit website

For the past week every time I go to the website to try to renew my fishing license I get the following message. Is anyone else having the same problem or have any news of why I can't get the permit online?

BY THE TIME THE ONLINE PERMIT SECTION IS NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO OUR SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SERVICE WILL REESTABLISH.

WE OFFER AN APOLOGY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

The Baja Norte site has not been offering the permits for several months now....where are you going to be fishing? The link Bill Collector posted is for Baja Sur.

I will be fishing all over Baja but primarily Baja Sur. I went on the website Bill Collector provided and went through the steps and I got to the end with a receipt showing it was paid and also an email.

But how do I get the fishing license? Or is the receipt the fishing license?

You have to either call or email them so they send you the license. I sent an email to the address provided and received no response so I called this number 612-128-7539 in La Paz and she gave me another email address to send the Folio # and they then send you the license to print out...only during business hours though...what a royal pain in the tush eh!

they also provide this # 1-800-581-1074 too

No I dont, the paper ones I had from the last government..(roll my eyes) are now gone and this new goberment hasnt printed any so you have to get them online. It's a hassle to get and print them so I am starting to charge $25 pesos to do it(for most people)....but for you Timo I would do anything!!!!

here is the link
http://apps.bcs.gob.mx/finanzas/finaweb/fonmar/index.php

make sure to put your email address where it says fonmar@.... and your phone # too

but then you have to email them to send it to you to print....I just called and got the new email address to get them....you send them the receipt that you get online...just forward it to asistenciabcs@hotmail.com with a note saying por favor, mandame mi licencia por favor.

We bought licenses last week at the tackle shop next to the fish market in Ensenada. Same prices as online.

Hi Shari,

This is the email address they gave me and they said they would email the license so I can print it out. I emailed them the Folio / receipt. Now lets see what happens.

The end of the saga! I sent the email to the address and they emailed me back my fishing license!!! Hooray.

Here is the recap.

1. Went online and did the paperwork and paid with my Master card about $47. This is the website that Bill Collector provided me and is in his response above.

2. I received an email with the receipt from Gobierno de Baja California Sur <asistencia@bcs.gob.mx> (Note: replying to this email address did not work).

3. Called the number Sheri provided and they gave me this email address to send the receipt to - asistencia@hotmail.com.

4. Forwarded by email the receipt at 10:55 AM requesting the fishing license.

5. At 1:47 PM received an email back with the fishing license attached from the following -

Lic. Yesenia Cosio Hirales
Asistencia al Contribuyente de la
de la Dirección de Ingresos de la Secretaría de Finanzas
del Gobierno del Estado de Baja California Sur.
Allende e Isabel La Católica, Col. Centro, C.P. 23000
Tel. (612) 1287539 01 800 5811 074
asistencia@bcs.gob.mx
asistenciabcs@hotmail.com

6. Sent and answer back to let them know I received the license and thanking them for their attention.

Thanks to all that posted and sent me U2U's.

Isn't Baja Nomads the greatest????? Yes it is!
