Ensenada Road Closures/Detours For Baja 1000

As of 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 12, Blvd Costero's north bound lane will be closed from Las Rocas to Castillo.

The South bound lane will carry traffic in both directions.

Lane closure will be effective through Sunday.

Recommended that you use 9th, 10th or 11th streets to Reforma to get around town in either direction.

It's a holiday weekend and they're doing work on Blvd. Costero? Oh man... good luck, Ensenadenses.

Nope, no repairs, closures/detours are for the Baja 1000 race

Do you think that the "truck route" will be ok if we come through south bound very early on Friday? Or do we need to detour even more?

Bad planning on our part, but the wife is still tied to a job.:(

Truck route

Should be OK, maybe just more traffic.

To avoid the truck and car traffic on 9th (the truck route) I have found that when you get to the stoplight at the Calimax/Auto parts store, continue straight on 10th street for a couple of blocks.

Make a left to 11th, then turn right onto 11th. You enter Reforma at the new Wal-Wart........(if that makes any sense)

9th is always busy, but controlled by frequent lights. On the best day you can only go so slow or fast.

You aren't in a hurry...are you?

I'm always in a hurry, but I can blend in with traffic, if I have to.;)

Yes, 11th street detour makes sense, Thanks
