Dish TV or Internet in Mulege Area?

I saw 2 new little white cars with Dish logo on the side and ladders on top driving north out of Mulege 2 weeks ago. Anybody know what this is about? Maybe Dish has a satellite hitting central Baja now??

Dish and Telmex had some kind of deal going. Not sure if that is still the case.
You could get the Dish install through them in Mulege.. I think that you get stations from the mainland or just Mexico television. When you look around town you see the red satellite dish that is the Dish Network dish.
Not sure the requirements.. we had a neighbor get one last spring and he had to get it installed in one of the locals name.. not his..
Internet is still thru Telmex Infintium by land line.. or if you have an older Hughes net dish you can set up... or if you can see cell towers you can get the internet stick like verizon and at&t sell. maybe thru the cell phone stores.
I don't think you can get any U.S. networks or stations on the Dish network here....
Go to Santa Rosalia Telmex office.. there is information there last time we were in their office..

I just asked and found out the reason the neighbor had to get the Dish Network system installed in one of the local workers name is that he didn't have a Mexico bank account...
Sounds strange but that was what he experienced...
