Need to see beautiful beach pictures

It is currently -41 with the wind in good ole Saskatoon, I'm in desperate need of seeing beautiful beach pictures!

I'll start, this picture was taken about 11 years ago. Its the first time we took all the kids to Todos Santos.

Here's one for you Bajagypsy:

My sweetie just returned from a conference in Saskatoon last week. Lucky for her they were having a 'heat wave'...i.e., lows only in the single digit minus numbers...ha!

I feel your pain; we grew up in Wisconsin which is only about 2 degrees F warmer than Saskatoon. So here's a slide show entitled "Flying Home Again to Baja" that I made. It will make you warm :-)

Monoloco those are beautiful!
Bonanza bucko, loved it! We have a "Charlie" of our own that wakes us each morning, either dropping clams or skiing down our metal roof in Asucnion!

Sure thing, Bajagypsy,

Like you, bonanzabucko, KurtG, and a few other Nomads, I grew up where the winters were long, severe, and deadly cold. As a kid, I'd read and daydream about warmer places, sunny beaches with clear blue waters...and started making plans to get there!

The daydreaming...

So I went looking...

Here's a couple choices for you. Enjoy your options.

Took this one of Waikiki in 1986. Super popular and exactly the same today. It's warm and okay, but like me, I think you prefer Baja's beaches.

Conception Bay...literally miles of sandy beach...take your pick.

Family picnics at Sta. Barbera Cove

Kayak & enjoy the privacy of your own island beach.

When picnicking you may have to share the beach.

And of course, that old time favorite....Coyote Beach.

There you go, Bajagypsy...all kinds of warm beaches to take your mind of that freezing weather Up North. I remember those times all too clearly.....brrrr.

Please stay safe and warm, I just got an email from a Manitoba resident who is snowed in at a cabin until they clear the roads.

Opps...forgot to add this one from your own backyard in Asuncion..

How about a few from near Bahia Conceptcion and Loreto? Hope this helps recharge the batteries (hey, it's only going up to 60 here at the beach in SoCal).

Wow, you guys rock! This is just what was needed! Mr. Gypsy doesn't know it but I booked plane tickets for us to leave on December 26 to San Diego, and then rented a car. Its his Christmas present, so we should be at our place on December 26, or at the latest December 27. We will need it as this cold front is here to stay for a bit.
