puertecitos report

I could only handle three days south of puertecitos. The wind stoped blowing for a total of four hours. During that time I scrambled over the rocks to a nice spot and sent my bobber in motion. The way I like to fish along the rocky shores is a hook tied directly to the line with a piece of bait pinned on, no weight. Then a large bobber about 3' to 4' above the hook. This keeps the bait out of the rocks so you do not get snagged as much plus it takes a good size trigger or bass to pull it under, they basicaly set there own hooks. The wind allowed me to catch enough fish for my dog and I to eat for a couple of days. I would have posted pictures but had my new digital camera along with my walett stolen out of my truck in san felipe. Right in the el nido parking lot. A new camera is on the way as I will be leaving wednesday for punta chivato until x-mas. I will give reports from down south. fishin rich
