La Paz Hotel Recommendations

Greetings Nomads,

I am going to La Paz for a few days in January, and am asking for your advice on a clean place to stay in the $50 range. Obviously I'm not looking for, or expecting a resort, but for the sake of my Pacific Northwest vitamin D deficiency a pool would be a nice inclusion.

Thanks in advance.

btw... not all the places with pools seem to have heated pools, or at least heat them at this time of year - or, so it seems.

thank you Doug,

Sorry I didn't dig enough to see these threads.
I have actually walked around Casa Buena, talked with the owners, and really liked it and them.
I just forgot what it was called!!

My meetings are going to be within a couple of blocks of the Malecon, and I'm renting a car to get back and forth to San Jose, so transportation isn't going to be a problem.
