Orioles like oranges too

There must be a few nests with recent fledglings because I have more than a doze orioles competing for my on feeder and oranges.

I still don't have any collard dove. You think they're on to me?

Grape jelly & fruit are what does it for our hooded orioles here in San Diego - and yes, the hummingbird feeder gets hit as well!

When I get back to Bola I'll crate up my collared doves and bring them down to you.

Wonderful photos. The first one is my favourite.

Russ, you and your fine work flies in the face of those who might see cameras replaced by E devices. What you show us on this little board will always be important photoart and the internet will find ways to keep that an option.

One guy, one digibox, a very special viewpoint, the want (or need) to get up
in the dark, be ready to give nature the very best capture, will always be appreciated.
