Road conditions to Bahia Asuncion?

Anyone have recent information regarding the condition of the road into Asuncion? The last time we went there was in 2010 and the road was so bad that we actually did some damage to out tent trailer due to the pot holes etc. We want to go back but we can't handle the road the way it was then.
