We enjoyed a visit with Sammy and Andy on October, a really nice couple of baja lovers! I can just see her in that shirt! What a memory.

I was the last to rent the house before Doc closed Gecko to transients. He said he was going to put n a new floor and turn the house over to permanent residents.
At that time he was building a cement block house next door. He had to tear down the casita near that spot because it was to close to the high tide line. I think it was 2005??

Edit... on review, if that is the two story by the beach and not the one along the road into camp, then we camped right outside when Marla and her kids rented it for New Years weekend. I had forgotten there were two two story cabins at Gecko.

I've spent many memorable times at that house - last time I was there it was Andy's 80th B-day. What a glorious party it was!
