Ruben's Palm Grill, in Cantamar, Rosarito, Update
Yes, Ruben has been evicted from his restaurant by a member of the owning family.
He has relocated to the pool house inside Cantamar and was open for business, as usual, today.
Cantamar is a gated residential community, but he had people opening the gate for customers - you can park inside Cantamar and his son was doing a
spinner sign on front of the old location and guiding people to the new location.
The old place is locked off with yellow tape and there is a security guard on duty. According to what we were told, if you park at the old location,
the Rosarito police will tow your car away.
Also, as we were told, the Palm Grill will reopen under new management very shortly.
However, the Pemex station next door still remains closed and no one knows if or when it will reopen.

I remember stopping in there about 3 years ago. The little market next door told me the owner had died and the family was still fighting over the
land and as long as it was in dispute they weren't going to open it. Quote: | Originally posted by willardguy

Drove by there today on our way back from Ensenada. Still taped off, including the Pemex station! It was strange to see it.
Oh, and the SURF WAS HUGE !!!

The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.

Yes, the Surf Has Been Huge and Loud
For several days, but no damage that we know about.
It just messes up your sleep when you hear the banging about.
