At least it is an easy fix, cut off the barbed point and slide it back out of his foot.

Off grid, 12-190 watt evergreen solar panels on solar trackers, 2-3648 stacked Outback inverters, 610ah LiFePo4 48v battery bank, FM 60 and MX60 Outback charge controllers, X-240 Outback transformer for 240v from inverters, 6500 watt Kubota diesel generator.

Easy if you have some cutters that can go thru that hook.

Had that happen to a panguero in PV and we had a hard time finding something to cut thru the hook. Ended up using a hook file and it took a long time to go thru that hook.

Never bring a dorado on board before it is dispatched properly. That hook off that Marauder was deadly.

a little perfect storm trivia, in real life murph really did get pulled overboard by a hook in the hand and was hand lined back onboard, but it happened on a different boat.
