No way. Was looking to take my kids out on his boat soon.

Condolences to his family. Here's Capitan Basilio back in 2012.

Very sad to hear the news about Basilio. What a nice man. I caught my first Dorado and saw my first Whale Shark while in the capable hands of Basilio. We were looking forward to having him take us out again in the future. Vaya con Dios, amigo.

I would suspect the flu and pneumonia was a consequence. This happened to someone in San Diego recently.

I picked up Valley Fever in BOLA and they thought it was pneumonia and then cancer and then TB. Nearly killed me. The spores live in the earth of the desert and spread by wind storms. Older people are more susceptible to infections and it starts in the lungs. In baja you can pick up this disease and never have it diagnosed correctly.

That's scary Skipjack Joe. I'll keep this in mind if I come down with the fluish symptoms down south. Short of googling it what's the remedy for it? RIP Captain.
