How far is the road to Aqua Verde paved ?

Just got back from a trip around BCS. We were flying Mex 1 back to La Paz, passed the intersection to Aqua Verde, and noticed the road was brand spanking new black top.

Couldn't drive it, wondering if it's paved all the way to the town?

There hasn't been any reports of how far along the paving is but it is getting paved.

Paved about 6 miles as of a week ago, then construction detours, then back to the old origional baja rancho road roller coaster. Is one helluva road/view off the escarpment.

Bring everything u need plus something for the locals, not much there.

Is this a must see camping spot?
Any idea how long the drive takes from the 1?
Headed north this weekend and not totally sure if we're going to stop at AV for a couple nights or not

Carlos left AV 5 or 6 years ago and moved to the Playita in San Jose Del Cabo. Since then, he moved to Constitution and lives there with his girlfriend who is a native of that town.

There is that one hell of a curve...I can't imagine how the hell the few trailers that are down there ever made it round that bend.....but it is sweet down there.
