Swimming With Whale Sharks

We took advantage of the hot weather to go see the whale sharks in Bahia de La Paz. The visibility wasn't the best, but I managed a few fotos.

Definitely should be a Bucket List item for everyone. I know what you mean about poor visibility. That is unfortunately just the way it is when you find them just outside the Mogote. Saw one outside Espiritu Santos a year ago but we were trolling at the time and the panguero wasn't about to stop so I could go play and take pictures in clear water.

Here's a website that maintains a data base of whale shark sightings. If you have an encounter you can upload info that helps them keep track of individual sharks based on their markings.
