La Paz rental?

Hi all, Les and I are considering spending the first 2 weeks in March in La Paz, just for the fun of it. Any suggestions as to a small place, with yard for Rex (dog) near the malecon? Less than $50 a night, if such a thing exists.

Thanks!

I'm also interested if your connections are for a nice little place with a good price. Some times it's good to stay over in La Paz for a few days in order to get a few things done and enjoy the city of Peace. Streets are a bit tore up and blocked off in places right now but not on the Malecon. Anything you guys could share?! Thanks. Tio

We know a beautiful, humble Mexican man that has been walking the streets of downtown La Paz for 25+ years. He knows every nook and cranny and his business is as a facilitator for all things property related in "Centro". Rent, buy trade or anything else to do with "dirt" or housing in La Paz??? Contact Cesar Flores cel: 044.612.156.4506 he is a miracle in a sea of dirt pimps. Tell 'em Roberto en Revolucion sent you. He speaks passable Spanish but will help you with your Spanglish.
