Will the weather coming through California have an effect on those coming for the race?
Why do Liberals insist and demand that achievers pay the way for nonachievers who are to lazy to succeed, or are just failures by their own choice?
Criminals prefer unarmed victims, dictators prefer unarmed subjects.
Why do ignorant people continue their blabbering when it only proves to others how stupid they are.

A little rain would be nice to keep the dust down during the race...it might not be ideal weather for spectating though.

The motorcycle and ATV entries are down with only 45 so far. It could be because the JCR/Honda, KTM and Kawasaki teams have pulled out of SCORE and
the new 5 race schedule for a championship. It appears the class 22 and Sportsman bikes have the biggest loss on entries. The new passing rules may
have had an impact too.

JCR is out, but the 1X plate is still being defended by former JCR team riders Colton Udall and Mark Samuels on their Honda. The THR Monster team on
the Kawi bike is still in the mix with Max Eddy and Ricky Brabec on the 4X...no Robby Bell this time around. KTM has been quiet...but I don't think
they have officially withdrawn from SCORE. Did you see an official KTM statement TW?

SAN FELIPE 250 MAP for 2014
Only one year was there a 'Baja 250', when the race was suddenly moved to Ensenada after an ejido demanded more money or closed the road used for the
race.

Something new they added is a rider must reach check 2 at RM193 before it closes at 1:41pm or they are out of the race and scored as a DNF. There is
also some new rules on passing.

Tom, isn't always the case of needing to clear a check point before it closes?
Is there something extra bad about the time that was picked... Isn't it usually set to close based on 25 mph from the last starting vehicle? Thank
you!

They are requiring the bikes to average 27mph. In the past if you got to a ck-pt after it closed you could still proceed to the finish line and if you
made it under the time limit and you stayed on course you were OK. But this is the first time the riders have been warned that if they get to ck-pt-2
after it closes they are a DNF. This has been talked about in off-road circles many times but this is the first time it has been put into use.
Some of the new rules
