Past the Peak at Ojo de Liebre Gray Whale Sanctuary
Although there are still over 2,000 whales in Ojo de Liebre, the numbers are slowly beginning to decrease so the peak has passed and it has been a
spectacular season this year with thick concentrations of whales everywhere. Here are a few highlights of the last few days...serene sunrises and
sweet calves....
here are some of the good vibrations tribe...what a clan
the San Felipe tribe after a wild whale watch
Nomad Standingwave has been setting up movie nights in palapa 2 on the side of an amigos RV...outstanding!
and a strange phenomenon occurred last night...37 identical rigs rolled in...all Germans...gone in the morning.
My birthday extravaganza is this sunday-monday for anyone daring to stop by the lagoon! woooo hoooo

Have a very happy birthday Shari!
thanks for sharing the great whale images.
Wow- what was up with that convoy? Did they actually go out to see whales or just camp for the night?
Interesting way to travel... RVs uber alle?

I'll be there bringing Adrian and Kath! The northbound parade of Ballenas includes a bunch passing between the point and the island this morning. No
