Dish network and daylight saving time
Hi, so we have Dish here below Ensenada, and when daylight savings time started, the time on the tv (and so the programming) did not change. Did
anyone else have this problem?
We called them and they said "ok we'll fix it today"...ha ha and of course nothing changed. Trying to get thru to them again today. At first we just
figured it would change when Mexico City started DST...but that's still another 2 weeks away. (I only care cause I watch something at 11pm that is now
not on until midnite)
thnx for any help!

In Baja Sur, we're on same time/programing as California. For the moment. Back to Mountain time when DST begins in Mejico. Our programs come on
earlier. No le hace. DVR. Tio

I cant believe this is a real question...My land, if a person cant figure out after one try if a TV show is going to be on an hour earlier or an hour
later, they should turn their PHD in.....I wish that was the most important thing I had to worry about.....

Hey Chuckie- it wasn't the most important thing I have to worry about, I don't come to this forum for the most important things I have to worry about.
If you read the last line I said I only cared because I was watching a series at 11pm that is now at midnite...and that's late for me.
As it turns out Dish Mexico is from Mexico City and the time will change when they change to DST, which is April 6.
And just so you don't worry, my life is really good so some days that would be my worst problem

unless...dish changed the time for the show and then when time changes in mexico it'll be on at 1am...you'll need to take a nap

ha ha it will be over this weekend I believe when Mexico City goes to daylight savings time. No, it's not a rerun, it's on at 11pm, but we changed
time, so 11pm on the tv is midnite for me. So come Monday no more staying up until 1am...yipeee.
