Pt. Chivato to the ponds 3/26/14
Followed some friends to swim in the ponds west of Mulege yesterday. Beautiful day almost no wind in the morning made for a very dusty ride and huge
spaces between us. When we arrived at our swimming holes we were disappointed to only find green puddles. No swimming until we get some good rain.

Not too great for a swim

Nice shots ... But not such nice swimming holes. Maybe you will get some rain out of the small burst we had here in San Diego yesterday.

Pretty countryside!

This is the road going over the Mountai from Mulege to Scorpion Bay.
Our trail is the broken yellow line. This was a half day trip from Chivato.

Thank you, yes... San Miguel is the village halfway to the Pacific side on that road.
