Sailing

Do you want to sail from beach to beach and eat fish every night. Lets meet up and split the cost of a charter. I have been sailing my entire life, so there is no need to hire a captain. The more the merrier. :bounce:

Now this sounds interesting. Do you have info on where one would pick up a bare boat in Baja? When?

The Moorings in La Paz rents boats. There is a list of available boats on their website. Not cheap but their boats are in great shape.

This sounds like my idea of heaven! I've only done a bit of sailing, but would love to learn more. If you're serious about doing it, we might be interested. We'd need to know fairly well in advance because we'd be coming from Chicago.

Feel free to U2U me with more details.

the good life

Sorrry it took me so long to get back to you, I have been out of town. For me the ideal way to do this would be to just meet up in mexico and charter the boat. If we want to reserve a boat ahead of time we would have to split a deposit on the boat, which I am willing to do If you are really interested. I will call the moorings tomorrow to check on availability. I will let you know when I have more information. My timeline is that I will be in mexico from dec 15- jan 5, but I definately hope that I never come back.
