Juan found a fantastic Mural Artist!!!!!

While on vacation Juan gave a ride to a man into Mulege and they got to talking and the fellow says he is a sign painter and asked him if we had any signs to paint. Juan tells the guy to look us up if he's ever in town...so he shows up a couple days ago and we decide to try him out....ya never know how great things look till you try them on..right ladies!!!!

Well, the guy ROCKS!!! Just hand him a picture of what you want and Shazaaaam...it's done in a couple of hours!

So I was thinking if any of you want something painted on a wall in or outside of your house, I highly recommend Agustin who lives in Sta.Rosalia and his work is very very reasonable.

He started off with our Oficina sign, then a dolphin over the Dolphin Room and he just finished painting a gray whale and baby on our wall! Next up is a yellowtail!!! We're on a roll.

Nice work.
If he works around the mid peninsula, maybe you should post how to contact him. Surely folks in Loreto could provide him with work. Lots of blank walls here.
I've always admired the murals in La Paz.

Sr.Agustin Aguilar doesnt have a phone or fixed address at the moment so you can contact him through me the next couple days. He does play guitar and is very pleasant. We are housing and feeding him while he works here which is most likely what will be needed if he does a job for someone....we'll see about getting him a cell phone.

Lotsa talent, obviously. He needs to have a cheap camera.

She's had Luis Cervantes do her work and after seeing Sr. Aguilar's work above, I won't comment on our local expert except that he does have a foto portfolio of his work.

I just asked Agustin and he had photos of his work on his phone that dropped in a bucket of paint. He was telling me about murals he did in Cabo...one at La Jarocha restaurant...an undersea scene..another one of traditional dancers in TJ...he gets around!

His work looks fantastic !

Your comment about his phone being dropped in a bucket of paint reminded me of the time when my eye glasses fell into a bucket of glue while I was laying wood flooring!!!

Cool stuff. We have considered putting a mural on our wall. If he is around this summer, we might be game.
