2014 San Felipe 250 photos

Posted at a leisurely pace, starting with the COPS Racing Trophy Truck, prepped and ready to race.

COPS Racing Team Owner, John Langley, hands out meeny posters to fans at Contigency on the Malecón.

San Felipe, from north of town.

The team's housing in San Felipe.

The causeway near La Ventana.

Race leaders around RM230.

Trophy Truck leaders near RM235.

Zak Langley drove the COPS TT to a 7th place finish - not bad for starting in the 15th position.

Those are beautiful photos! We watched the CBS Sports San Felipe 250 special last night... A good job, specially showing Tavo nearly flip at 140 mph on Diablo Dry Lake, as he approached the Beemer!

This Baja race TV special was maybe smart showing only the top few trophy trucks and not try and show or even explain that there are dozens of other classes of cars and bikes also racing... One hour on TV just can't do it.

Again thanks for the great photos... Go Bad Boys Go!

Thanks StuckSucks. Yep, great photos and recap. My guys 4X came out on top in the bikes. I'm bummed I missed the CBS coverage last night but I was just getting back from Joshua Tree.

Jon, I think it has more than one showing, and I DVR'd it. You can see it here... No problema!

Da nada, guys.

David K: what you said, that Tavo high-speed, near-roll was nothing short of spectacular.

Ateo: glad I was able to snap a pic of your 4x. Since he was first on the course, that was somewhat easy to do.

Here's a 30-second time-lapse I made at our pits during the race (teaming up with Checkers):
