GoPro editing
I know there are some Nomads that are into making GoPro of their Baja trips and such. I have seen a few good ones
any suggestions for minimum computer specs required for minor editing?
My 3-4yo laptop just doesn't have the juice for it, need an upgrade.
If I can get some help with this one I'll share some fun Baja footage!

Have you tried "free movie editing" in google? Usually there is something in there that will work. Good luck. Looking forward to seeing your video.

I wish you luck on the editing part. I know of some people who got their money back on the camera because the angles were too wide.
Plus most of the footage they wanted to shoot, would require 5 or six cameras showing different angles, then those would have to be edited into the
footage to be shown.

I use windows movie maker to edit my go pro videos. It is easy to edit, add captions and music and post to youtube if you want. Just remember to save
the movie once you've edited.

If you want something a little more powerful than movie maker, you might try Adobe Premiere Elements 11. I have that version and although there is a
learning curve, it is a lot of power for $50 (version 11 is still available and version 12 is $100). You can google it to get the system requirements.
Good Luck!

There's one more element about the editing process: time. When you're thru shooting, you have to watch all your footage, then decide what is going to
be watchable, then the editing begins. Lots of time is required. But that said, you'll have a killer video when you're thru. CineForm Studio is editing software which comes free with the GoPro - always an option.
