fishing lic in San Felipe
The on line site has been down for a few days , I was thinking of buying my fishing lic in San Felipe on way down I would guess that I can buy it at
the port captains office in the marina. Is that the case or ?

Check with Discover Baja Travel Club... I think they sell them in San Diego?

I found it... the old pesca.deportiva on line site is down . I found a link on baja bound ... click on baja califorina sur fishing permint website
takes you to BCS Contigo . not a easy site it is in spanish but got my lic.

Perhaps wait until you get down to San Felipe and purchase a license from the office in town. Many here (like Shari) have stated that buying "locally"
yields a better chance of keeping those pesos directed at the local enforcement and resource management versus your money being directed to Ensenada
with little chance of it trickling down to the region you fish from.

I have looked at that site, but haven't used it. Did they have to email you the license or could you just print it out like the old site did?

BTW: where ever you may get your license from....mail a copy of it to yourself. Should you lose your FL.....all you need to do is find Internet in The
Baja :-)
