What a great way to be welcomed to Baja closer to home...my only complaint is that the highway 1 sign needs to be higher and bigger.
Even knowing where it was in theory, were I on my own, I don't think I would ever have found it. And I would have missed a great meal in a pretty
location. Thanks Mariz and Chris!
The entrance

The Gorgeous Mari!

The venue, we were all eating upstairs due to the delightful breeze, but there are more tables by the pool.

The waitress, who speaks fluent English and Spanish.

A decorated wall

A swim up bar!
All they need are some rooms to rent and perfection will have arrived! Hint, hint.

The garden in front....really beautiful.

The delicious food. I had a southwestern inspired roll, like a Chinese spring roll, but with beans and rice, fried, with an incredible sauce to dip
it in. Les had the pulled pork. All GOOD.

It was so great to meet you and Les, Blanca! We look forward to your next trip this way.
Rex cooled off under our little palapa at our fish cleaning station...what a good boy!
We are located just south of Loreto, just across the bridge as you head towards Nopolo.
Thanks Blanca for posting this and your photos!!!

Rex was just fine and although we took him out. Often in La Paz, we do not normally take him to restaurants. He was just fine under the palapita!
Wonderful fun eating there....I still have leftovers for my lunch today...

Have a great day folks and if you go to Loreto, for sure make a stop at Sabor. It was pretty busy yesterday, I bet they have to start taking
reservations soon.

Does anybody know what the best way to get to Sabor is, if you don't have your own wheels? I'm sure a cab out there would be easy... but a ride
home???
Can they call a cab for you or???

I'm looking forward to going back to Sabor in a few weeks!! Baja 1000. Love the place. I was there only once in April when I was in Loreto for NORRA .
I was the only person there at the time for lunch. As it turns out Chris and I grew up in the same "City" in South Orange County. Graduated from HS
the same year (different schools). I won't pass through Loreto again without stopping in for a cold cerveza!!!

Hola Nomads!
Sabor! Restaurant will be open in one week! We will be opening on
Thursday October 1st at 12:30pm. We will be serving lunch again as
well as Sunday brunch. Sabor! will be open Wednesday through
Saturday from 12:30 to 8 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 8pm. We have
been busy adding more shade and a new wood-fired pizza oven. Ashley has
designed us a beautiful new website and a android app that makes it
very easy to make reservations and find out the latest. See our new
site, get the app, and see the full menu at www.saborloreto.com
We missed all our friends over the summer! Hope to see you very soon!
