Punta Banda

Is the road work done yet to Punta Banda, or is it better than it was in march.

Or...not.

This was posted a few days back on the PB Bulletin Board"

SETTING NEW RECORDS FOR SLOW.........

"...........is our own road construction project lingering on.............and on.............and on......

between Punta Banda and Maneadero. The GUINESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS has been called upon to evaluate the ongoing project as worthy of top, world class honors for events that not only change history, but become part of the cultural fabric that defines the formation of certain isolated segments of a society.

It is known that these separations from the center will result in the formation of new language dialects, as well as regional dress codes, that will conform to the unique environmental influences of the region.

The evaluation committee has voiced one important protest to the request to supplant the Great Wall of China as the record holder in this division, as they can't establish whether the Great Road Of Punta Banda is actually a work in progress, or a well-worn goat trail of antiquity, due to the scarcity of men actually working on the monumental project........so, the jury is still out.

We'll see.....................soon. Yep......................soon."

SLOW PROGRESS

Could be there is a ulterior motive to their lack of progress. Several of the business along that route have either moved or closed up. :wow:

I've been told by someone that spoke to credible source that the slow progress is due to lack of the final base material which is a mixture of gravel, sand and cement. The reason that the delivery of this material has been intermittent is that the trucks that deliver it, and in fact the material itself, is all dedicated to the repair of the toll road.
