Wide Open Yellowtail bite ON in Asuncion

Man oh man...what a difference a few days make! The storm "Douglas" pushed warm water up our way and yesterday it was 77 degrees..there were birds working everywhere you looked and yellowtail are thick around here now. Today's group got easy limits one after another as fast as they could reel em in. Not bad size either..in the 10-25 lb range. These guys were sooo stoked...

the sashimi was flyin...

the girls relaxed in the pool while the fish were being cleaned and bagged.

hard to believe the water is nearly 20 degree warmer than it usually is this time of year....crazy stuff.

Now Chuck sweety...you KNOW I rarely do what I am told....

here are some fish from yesterday and today...bite still on. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention the wahoo that bit through the line and barracuda which are good indicators for game fish to come...Woody is praying hard for tuna!

our guest Max who is 12 is having the time of his life...driving the van around town...skateboarding & boogie boarding with the kids from the hood, and he caught his first fish in the ocean today...super stoked to say the least...he wants to stay here...maybe we'll adopt him!

lots of bait in the water these days

we are having perfect weather and are enjoying all the families that visit this time of year...on deck is Nomad GC and Bigmike for tomorrow...

Good times Shari, I live for those pics while we're away. Did Juan ever get a replacement launch vehicle ?
Woody, sounds like a good excuse to deliver the shirts yourself
