Shells in Northern Baja Pacific side
I really love collecting shells and so does my novia. Last weekend we went to La Mission beach and walked a couple of miles to where the beach crowds
thinned out to nothing. There we were able to collect some nice shells.
Can someone suggest some other nice places to look within day range of Playas? I am very interested in driving down to Puerto Santo Thomas and
farther south.

Agree, San Quintin beaches are full of sand dollars and other shells. The shoreline is very quiet, remote, undeveloped in contrast to your area.
Nice drive thru rolling hills/canyons, tho crowded around agricultural areas.
Maybe better for an overnight, but could be done in a long day.

If you do the San Quintin beaches, park somewhere safe with security to watch your car.

The further south you drive, the more shells you will see. Even more shells, you will be amazed, is on the gulf side, near San Felipe... one beach
there is a barrier island and is thus more remote, I call 'Shell Island'.

Shell Island, ~20 miles south of San Felipe is the best I have seen. Maybe too far for you.
