Bahia Asuncion Fishing Report

Summer is always fun as we get to take families fishing while the kids are out of school. This father & son team had a great day on the water and as they are surfers, they liked the big swell. Gianni scored the biggest fish of the day and he and his dad Bart did have rather sore arms after reeling in limits of yellowtail. Their mixed bag consisted of sierra, calico and some nice skipjack! There is now dorado here too under the kelp paddies.

All pangas are on the beach now for the big storm swell and the water is at least 78 degrees...which while nice for sport fishing, it has the cooperativas very worried about the abalone.

Mr.Baja Gypsy was stoked to spear this grouper a couple days ago which we took to Keykos to cook up for the gang here!
