Used to watch train racing at the old Saugus Raceway in LA Calif 35 years ago ON A FIGURE 8 TRACK WITH 5 TEAMS AT A TIME. I wouldn't want to be the guy in the "caboose" for love or money.

Almost like the 'road trains' I saw in Australia (semis with 3 trailers). Scary to pass.

Triple trailers are allowed in some states in the USA --- Nevada, Oregon and Utah come to mind.

...and Idaho. I found myself behind a triple on the way up to Challis a couple of weeks ago. It was many miles before he signaled "all clear" to pass.
