Herman Hill's Book: 'Baja's Hidden Gold' now in second edition.
Just got an email from Roger Silliman (book's producer) that the first edition is sold out and he has published a second edition with four more
chapters and something on Herman's death added to all the original text.
As soon as I hear back from Roger on how we can get the new edition, short of going to Bahia de los Angeles, I will post it here!
Here is the first edition cover...

David,
I can't say that if Herman read what you posted he would be turning in his grave, only because I haven't buried him yet.
I can say that I imagine that his cremains may be bouncing around the inside of my trailer in Bahia right about now.
Perhaps Roger may find it in his heart to donate a portion of the proceeds that he hopes to make of of Herman's demise and the timely second edition
of Herman's book towards his memorial and grave stone. That would be really nice and I would greatly appreciate it.
Please feel free to give him my email and/or he can contact me via u2u.

Roger dropped some copies of the new edition at the Baja Bound office as well. We will be selling them for $15 and donating the proceeds to Herman's
cause....which will be $10 per book sold.

An unregistered Nomad lurker has contacted me he wishes to donate to Herman grave stone as well. I told him to contact you Paulina! Herman was a cool
dude, and let's remember him for the years of hospitality at his casa in Bahia de los Angeles, by Guillermo's.

I got my Second Edition of Herman's 'Baja's Hidden Gold' book today and it looks good, about 20% bigger overall size, and contains 5 new chapters not
found in the first edition. The number of pages increased from 177 to 214.
In my quick scan of the new chapters, they seem to be Herman's writings that must have been edited out from the first edition. Stories of pre-historic
inland lakes, the Cochimí Indians, the mission of San Borja, etc. not found in the first edition.

One of the new chapters had an odd name, so I asked Roger about what it means... "Chapter 15 Sierra San Borja-1120C", right before "Chapter 16 Sierra
San Borja".
The answer is that is a typo, that he didn't notice in proofing the book until I emailed him yesterday! It is supposed to be 1120BC (the year)!
