Struck me as odd to see this the other day on CNN and some other news sites. I would have surely thought the odd one would be caught here and there during warmer current years when dorado and other types of warmer water pelagics venture up the coast.

I hear what yer sayin jcom...I would have thought during the major El Nino of the 90's this would have happened...either way it is not very "normal".

There have been three caught in SoCal now....
(although one is a little suspect)
So maybe two

The water temps are at historic highs
