Bruce

If you are asking about the Palo Verde in between Mulege and Santa Rosalia my mother spoke with Abraham who lives there via facebook and he said the town was ok, lots of wind and water, he was not sure of damage as he was just started to go out and see. As of yesterday they were cut off from Mulege and Santa Rosalia because the Aroyo's were running and some road damage. Also the road out to Punta Chivato was cut off. He was going to check back in today so I will post any new information.

Palo Verde /Chivato report

..Second hand report..

" "Just got off the phone with friend of a freind in Palo Verde.

He had made it to Santa Rosalia and was able to call from there. I had a very difficult time understanding much of the conversation so I will just post a couple of high lights I feel to be accurate.

Russ in PC is OK. He said he spoke with him.

The road into Chivato is it's usual mess.

I asked him who else he knew that was there at this time and he mentioned very few if any one there besides Russ that he knew of

He mentioned from what he could see in the short time he was there that buliding damage didn't look too bad.

He said road from PV to Mulege is passible , he went there yesterday and said the town is a mess

Palo Verde itself came out alright. He said it rained for 17 hours

He was able to get to Santa Rosalia with 4x4, the water has gone down in the arroyos but there is a lot of mud.

He thought that maybe cell service could be up and running in the Palo verde/Chivato/ Mulege area within a day or two." "
