The police and cartels..????.


The news in the past year or more has had fewer reportings of disappearings and murders in Mexico...certainly fewer for Baja....and that seems to have been a good thing.

However, the craziness continues (not intended to be a "Mexico is dangerous" thread....just info):

Todays LA Times reports of findings off mass student graves thought to be last weeks roundup of students. Over 20,000 reported missing in the last 3 years.

I believe when the new president censored the press on reporting any negative news about Mexico all the violence just went away...

I do from time to time....have seen my share of videos recording chain saw killings, skinning faces, and other tricks of the trade.....I am under no illusion as to the risks....and have learned to travel "smarter" when in Mexico.
