The comments are cute but I need to know if the vados are passable after the recent rains from "Simon"......especailly around Catavina?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Highway vados around Catavina are reportedly open, but the one just south of Cat is a bit wet as usual w/ broken pavement....as usual.

Haven't heard details about unpaved roads around Catavina....a surfer could tell you, but he would subsequently have to kill you ;D

STOMP THE NEWBIES! STOMP THE NEWBIES!

If this was pescador asking from San Quintin and hauling his trailer, this thread would be a bit different, methinks.

Spud and Vernon, maybe one day you too can grow up to be a Nomad... it's all a matter of tenure, everyone gets hazed, and none of us will get outa here alive.

The report out of El Rosario as of mid-day today is that traffic continues to flow both north and south.

Charles,

When I indicated my Baja trip planning was going to redirect me away from Mulege and I would need to postpone my incredibly generous offer of buying you a beer at the Serenidad (a kind gesture to attempt to demonstrate repentence for my sin of calling the pizza "pedestrian" and creating a furor in that social circle), I also thought I gave you ample time to recover from that emotional let-down.

You even acknowledged that you had "scheduled shrink time to deal with the sorrow".

Now I see that whatever prescription he wrote hasn't reached the proper blood levels yet. Don't worry....sometimes they take several weeks.

However, some of my travel partners have had to back out of our month down there.....so my plans are once again fluid.

At the risk of confusing you and perhaps the diagnosis, please bear with me as I try to possibly reconfigure a month's worth of travel planning to once again find myself having the honour of your presence and the privilege of buying you a beer....Corona is your fave, no?

Should we have that opportunity, I will be belching rather than welching....:biggrin::saint:

and Motged and Charles, you may include moi in your little soiree, pedestrian or no. OK?

Question: How about the partially-dirt road far east from Laguna Chapala up to Mexicali? Family intend to drive it north tomorrow. Reports, please?
