Some things shown you can't see anymore... the base of the Eagle Monument and the swimming pool between the hotel and the ocean at the La Pinta (now Mision Santa Maria hotel, San Quintin).

thanks for taking me along. i've driven from los angeles to los barriles about seven times starting in 2004 but i wasn't as adventurous as you.

is your truck about a 1953 or so chevy panel truck ?

i enjoyed your narrative and all the photos.
