Tuna bite after "Simon" ON!

Roger & Lucas were jonsein to get out fishing and waited patiently for the storm surge to pass and the water to clear up. They were happy with their mixed bag of tuna, dorado, YT and calico. The fish are only taking rapalas and not cedar plugs...weird eh!

They also saw a pod of pilot whales while they were stretching tuna lips...the ocean is over 80 still but air temps are back in the tolerable range in the 80's too...perfect fishing weather!

well...hasta luego...gotta wander down to Don Ramon's for the world's best shrimp taco! Have a great Sunday everyone and for all you canucks...enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend!

Shari, could you ask Juan what the water temps have been where the tuna are being caught? How far off shore were they?

The last time I caught tuna in BA, we only had to go about 10 minutes from the launching beach.

Nice catch - I want to see a photo of the sashimi platter!

3 miles out, what a great place you live in.

Haha Udo! You are a good salesman. I don't spend enough time in Baja yet, someday. I hope you get to feeling better so you can enjoy your place before it sells.

Wahoo! Or shrimp. Or halibut. Or shark teeth. Whichever! 54 days, but who's counting?
