9 daze below the border

Got back last night from 9 days below the border. Spent time on both sides of the peninsula and had a stellar trip! Surfed Wed alone, Thurs with 4 then 3 others. Water was the warmest I've ever felt there PERIOD, for any time of the year. We spent 2 nights with Maru Ojeda and family who took real good care of us and the rest of the time at BdeLA fishing and doing nothing, which is my favorite!

We both caught our biggest Yellowtail ever! Mine 34 pounds and Bia's 29 pounds for a total of 5. Bia farmed 2 that we'll get next time. We fished with Enrique Daggett who knows his stuff and didn't think twice about running an hour north to the honey hole.

Tshirts going out this week. Sorry for the delay, but someone had to do it!

Good times! Thanks for taking us along, so to speak :)

Just checked http://www.tempbreak.com/index.php?&cwregion=mb and you're right, the 8-day composite indicates the water was exceptionally warm for this time of year, or almost any time of year, for that matter! 72-76 on "that" coast! Unreal!
