Asuncion is one of my planned stops on the way north in two weeks. I opened this thread with the expectation of an 'Oh crap, what now!' story, but I can live with a little mugging.
Made me smile!

Not to worry, shari. It's too much fun to keep quiet for long...and anyway, everyone likes to be 'mugged' by nice folks.

I just pulled into Asuncion this afternoon, and it is calm and gorgeous. I wasn't planning to be here quite this soon, but had to escape the nasty winds over at Bahia de Los Angeles. Shari, where are you???! :-) I may be here for a few days - hope to meet up.

It was one of those automatic ads...pulled photos from my file and showed me product samples. The mug made me laugh...it's Chema, one of the guides for the mule trips. I'm sure he'd laugh if he could see it. Maybe I'll buy him one.
